Weekly 98 - The Dream

When I woke up this morning, I was looking in the eyes of my cat, it's a black cat, and he has a couple of white hairs under his chin, only a few...he has those spikey hears on top of his ears, just like a lynx has... My cat is my friend, whenever I come home from the pub in the night I step inside of the kitchen  quietly else Ill wake up my parents and I lock the door. I  make one step and "plonk" I hear my cat jump from my deskchair upstairs, I hear "trip trip trip" which means he's comming down the stairs and he starts spinning (the sound a cat makes when he "smiling") So I pic him up, take him upstairs put him back on my deskchair, and I take of clothes and lay down in bed, my cat jumps onto the bed, and lays itself down on my head and falls asleep... very coosy!

But that's not the point, today I woke up looked at my cat said hello, and he fell asleep again... so I got dressed and walked to the bus, I was going in to a long day at school , a symposium about "Diesel Powered Flight"... I really don't care about engines so I knew it was gonna be boring... and I was right, I could not find any interesting parts in any of the presentations shown by the guest-speakers. I actually fell asleep FIVE times, and during one of those 3 minute naps I had a some what weird dream... I heard one of the speakers muble something in english (as it was an international convention)... and didn't realise I was asleep...

Neway, I was dreaming about myself being a designer for some sort of racing team... We had our first test session with out bike, we arrived at the track very late in the night, and we had to work all night to set things up, as it was the first outing of our new bike, alot of press was around aswell! So it promised to be very exciting... After 13 months of straight flat out labour on designing and building the first bike we finally had a chance to test it on track, it was Andrea Dovisiozo who had the honour to do the first laps (don't ask me why him cause I have no clue)... so I arrive at the track and take a seat on pitwall and check all the weather data by sticking my head outside of the little office we built on pitwall, and I saw it was a great day to have a test. I spoke to some persons of the press.  And then suddenly I saw the pitbox door open and I see my great creation standing there, ready to be fired and driven around the track... Andrea prepares himself with his race-engineer to check the final things, and another mechanic fills the bike with fuel... couple of minutes later Andrea steps up the bike, and check if everything is in place... another mechanic gets the starter and the bike revs up! The press is cheering for this wonderfull sound we managed to get out of this bike. and the bike is released from it's pitstand, rolls out of the box, and suddenly I awake from my sleep hearing "Are there any questions about this presentation I have just shown you?"........
