In only 1 year Skider became the best rider of all time in
MotoGP500online, he is first in several all time statistics:
He is the rider with the highest number of consecutive race victories:
7 and also the most consecutive podiums: 15.
At Motegi he smashed his rivals and set a new world record: he has won
the race by 9.006 seconds to Biggie who came in second place, thats the
biggest distance ever from the winner to the second placed rider.
He also has the record of the biggest distance between the Pole
Position time and the second place time: Valencia 2005 when he
qualified in first position, 0.622 seconds faster than Biggie.
Skider is the fourth rider from Spain to win races in MotoGP500online,
joining: Biggie, Mask and Zeramic.
He is the only rider to have won the title before the final race of the
year, winning it with 2 races before the end of the season.
After winning
the championship, Skider said:
"Thanks to everybody, its a huge satisfaction to win this championship
because this is the best gp500 online championship in the world and the
best riders in the world so I cant believe it yet, I always raced
looking to have fun race by race and I enjoyed alot this season, my
best year so far indeed. Few months ago I've won the WSS champ (gr8
champ too) and now this MotoGP champ, thanks to all who made it
possible!
My start of the season wasnt so good as I expected, but after 2
disastrous races, I kept my head cold and I made very good races until
now. The key of the victory was ride as constant as I could, from the
first lap to the last lap, thats my strategy. But every race was
different, I believed in my own possibilities and thats all.
However as I said last week, many guys have quit this gr8 champ and the
level (not in laptimes) has dropped compared to 2005. Last year there
were almost 7 or 8 guys fighting for the victory, this year we were
only 3 or 4, its sad but I hope a new generation of riders will come
soon."
