News 18/11/07  Round 18. Valencia : Ricardo Tormo

Seby wins the last race of the season in Valencia while Skider becomes the GP500-MotoGP 2007 World Champion for the second successive year.

Seby did one of his best performances of the season to win the last race of the season in Valencia and kept his promise to fight until the end of the last lap of the last race. Although this wasn't enough to prevent Skider from winning the World Title as the Spaniard finished close behind Seby in second position to become the first ever back to back winner of the GP500-MotoGP World Title. Even so, there wasn't a big battle on the track between the 2 stars, Seby started from Pole Position (his 12th of the season) and never looked back, he lead the race from the first corner to the last one as he took his 7th victory of the season in Stoner style.
The Romanian also put himself into the history books as the last ever winner of a 990cc GP500-MotoGP race. Even with 7 victories and 15 podium finishes Seby still didn't manage to overcome Skider in the fight for the title this season and this is living proof that Skider's overall performance during a season is unbelievable and it takes much more than few wins to beat the amazing Spaniard. Seby has given everything possible this season but he and the other top riders will have to do much better than that if they want to beat Skider in the future. The key might be to beat Skider at the tracks where he was unbeatable until this moment (Brno, Phillip Island etc), maybe then he will crack and others might have a chance. Skider's evolution in gp500 is similar to Rossi's few years back but even The Doctor was beaten in the end. Only time will tell if Skider will manage to win again next year or not. The money is on him at this moment.
Back on track, SFW managed his first back to back podiums since exactly 1 year ago. Pretty slow for a rider who wants to fight for the title. SFW will need to focus much more in races next year, at this moment he can fight for the podium but he will need to fight for the victory and actually win races next year if he wants the World Title.
Guishermo came in fourth place at Valencia after a big mistake in the middle of the race when he went off track and lost 5-6 seconds. He was very strong this year, the strongest rival for Skider and Seby but he also had few bad races and some DNFs. He has the talent, he has everything on his side, now he just needs to focus more and be more consistent.
Transalp and Thunder were 5th and 6th in Valencia, they have been very close to each other this season but Thunder is a rookie while Transalp is old school, a rider who used to win races back in 2004 and 2005. Once Transalp will have time to practice more he will be up there again, everybody is sure of that.
Same goes for Thunder who actually had 2 podium finishes this season, next year he might improve even more and soon to become a top rider who will fight for the victory.
Gabi46 came in 6th at Valencia which is a very good position for a rookie. He confirmed after the 5th place in Sepang, he will be a top rider very soon, maybe even next year but he will have to practice more, join a top team and be really consistent on track (which he proved to be so far).
Team mates Max and Vouks came in 8th and 9th but Vouks made a big mistake in the race and crashed his bike. He managed to continue the race but that wasn't enough to finish in a good position. Vouks has improved very much this season and took his first ever victory in Shanghai and was one of the favorites for the title at the start of the year. He dropped his sword towards the middle of the season and rarely looked to be fighting for the victory. With a bit more practice and much more determination he will fight for the title next year but essentially is for him to eliminate those moments when he makes mistakes because in a fight with Skider, a single finish outside the top 4 is enough to allow Skider to escape in the standings.
EseNeen completed the top 10 in Valencia after a brave race for the rookie.
Now it's time for winter testing, 2007 season is over and all we can do is congratulate Skider for the amazing performance this season, performance which brought him his second World Title.

Skider Oasics NoGrip Racing (2nd in Valencia - 16:36.322, 1st in the Standings - 457 points):
"First of all I wanna say big congratulations to all who make this championship possible for us, the best gp500 online championship ever (who did not know that?).
Well actually I'm really surprised about winning the championship again this year because this year has been much harder than last year, I didn't change anything in my mind to do races, but I made mistakes and falls that made me think of the possibility to lose it, it was hard when I was leading by 30 points at the middle of the season and Seby got pass me in the standings wish his 5 in a row victories. I think the problem were a group of factors:
- This year I didn't have the same time as last year to practice for the races and it cost to me, some bad races, mistakes and falls.
- The physics of the bike were much more harder to ride as the 2006 & 2005 ones, more faster but more difficult as well, specially the front end, very easy to lose it even with green tyres.
- Most important factor were the rivals in the track, Seby, Guishermo, Vouks, SFW, down, etc... The level this year was much more higher than last year, specially Seby and Guishermo, both of them will be the guys to beat next year, it will be very hard to beat these 2 mofos next year, Im sure of it. I'm very happy because of that, even with some throubles I could win the championship again, I have to admit it was damn hard after some bad races this season that cost me some important points and big disappointments. But I didn't hope to finish the championship as I did, I think after the "bad" results the battle would be more close, pity for Seby to lose some points at the beginning of the season and specially at Phillip Island where was the decisive race for us, but that's racing.
I wanna say some feedback about this motogp500online 2007 championship:
An important thing to improve next year, the lag in the races was huge, in someones unbearable, dunno if somebody felt the same, but last year was smooth compared to this year. Anticoll didn't work as before, it kicked to me out of the track sometimes and I lost many points because of that, Shanghai and Sachsenring specially. I don't know what is the reason, but I think the models we used caused those throubles.
I started very well this season compared to 2006, but I lost advantage in the middle, fortunatelly I could improve the bad performance at the end of the season.
Guishermo surprised everyone at Losail taking his first win in his debut race in this championship, amazing m8. My ass still hurts lol +0.124sec omg!
Jerez was a race that I'm very proud of, because I did a crap race in 2006 and I won this year, wanted to win and I'm very happy about the victory, the one and only victory in Spain.
Istanbul was a good race figthing with Vouks, was a nice one, but Guishermo kiked my ass by 0.5sec this time.
Shanghai was by far the best race this season without a doubt because that was like a war, everyone was riding at 120% without any compassion, 6 ppl in the same room was unbelievable, very exciting, but huge lag lol I made a great come back after the anticol bug kicked me out of the track, fortunatelly finished 3th, I recovered 2 seconds in 3 laps from the leader.
LeMans was very good race for me in wet conditions, very hard to keep in 2 wheels in these conditions, Vouks was very strong but I could beat him at the end, nice race as well.
Mugello, OMG lol I started like a rocket, I forgot to brake in the first corner and went into the gravel then I made my best race of the season, coming back after the disaster, I recovered more than 6 secs from the leader, gg to down who beat us with his keyboard power.
Catalunya, raced with SFW and down, was nice at the beginning where down took the lead and I was trying to follow him, huge pace for him, but few laps later he made a mistake and I was alone in front, It was like somebody gave me a tranquilizer and I relaxed too much riding alone, I made a stupid mistake, pushed too hard in brakes in the first corner trying to allow a bad line and lost the front.
Donington, Seby no comment, our mate Sebastian did not let any chance, big GG, like running in the park? omg mofo!
Vouks was the fastest at Assen but surprisingly he crashed while we were fighting in the first laps of the race with Seby. What a shame m8, this race demoralized you pretty much I guess; I did almost the same move though lol I went wide like Melandri in 2004 and lost the chance to fight for the victory.
Sachsenring was a good race untill I had an anticol bug, it wasn't 100% because of the bug, I was trying to overtake Seby and I didn't calculate the braking in the downhill so the bug took me 1 meter in the left side of the track, I couldn't do anything to keep my bike on the tarmac.
I did completelly a n00b action at Laguna Seca, the pressure that Seby put to me was enough to make me fall and lose some points, I wasn't at my best moment at Laguna however I did a gr8 lap in qualyfing (weird on me lol). Good strategy Seby, you surprised me and I f'ed up because I was slow at the beginning, then I made a perfect race after the crash, amazing couple of laps I did until the finish.
Brno was a very important race for me, winning after making big mistakes in the last 6 races until then. Decisive race for me indeed, felt like a fish in the water after that.
Misano was a very exciting race with Guishermo, Seby and SFW. I can call Guishermo as "The Lagger" after this race, I saw a huge lag on him, I could see him 300m in front and 5 sec after only 1m forward OMG! in short it was not so bad after going in to the gravel 1 time losing few secs lol.
Estoril was another gr8 race for me, I was all the time behind Seby until 2 laps to go when I ass rapped him in 2 laps, sorry m8!
Motegi was the hardest race for me in a track I like so much, that brought to me my first title but this time was not possible to win, big pressure I felt there in wet conditions, I think I did a smart race trying to do a good and safe race avoiding a fall like Laguna, I had to be glad with 2nd.
Phillip Island was absolutelly a decisive race for the championship battle, I knew the story would be different as Motegi, dry and hot race we could see there Guishermo showed us how fast he might be, but wasn't enough for moving me out of the way in a track I was always very fast, gg Guishe!
I hoped for a nice battle at Sepang with Seby after I kicked his ass last year, but wtf I rode very confident and took the definitive step to the title. 17 points is huge when I know it's very difficult to see me out of the top8 at Valencia. Even so I wasn't very confident lol, everything might happen in this life!
I wanted to win at Valencia after 2 years trying to do all possible to take the win, but it wasn't either possible gg Seby very good performance.
I'm very happy after this 2007 season, winning the tittle 2 years in a row is unbelievable for me. In the best gp500 championship ever, what else can I ask for?
It's amazing how gr8 is this game, what feelings we can feel with this game, GP500 FOREVER M8S!!!!!!! LONG LIVE THIS CHAMPIONSHIP and specially enjoy it while we can hehehe bad times are always to come, you can't be out of danger until you die lol.
See you all in winter testing and of course next year! ByE! HAVE FUN!!!"

Skider 2 times World Champion in a row, pretty impressive so big congratulations m8. But you have to admit that this year it wasn't as easy as last year. This year it was much harder than ever before and in time you will consider this title more important than others because it was much harder to get it. That's the beauty of it, to win when you have a very hard path, the glory is 10 times bigger. Our fight is pretty far from the end, this is only the beginning of it. My fight with others is not over yet, I still have other records and riders to beat before I can focus 100% on you. Only then we'll be in the middle of the fight and I'm sure it won't be easy for either of us. Next year after I'll pass all the rest of the riders in all statistics I will give you the best fights and the best memories to keep in gp500, that's a promise. Btw who got ass raped on home soil this season? you did muhahaha, I kicked your ass both at Catalunya and Valencia OMFG, how can you live with that? shame on you. Who's your daddy now? hahahah
Anyway, congratulations again, enjoy yourself while you still can because the future is not so bright for you, this year was nothing compared to what will come.
Seby. What can I say about myself? well this year was the best ever so I can't be sad, I'm all wet and happy lol. Only way to go forward is to accept the past and that's what I'm doing. I realise I lost the title but I'm very happy because I've beaten my objectives which were 2nd place, 5 wins and 10 podiums. I've done better, 7 wins and 15 podiums so now I can get a well deserved rest until next year when another adventure will start, another very hard year, I'm sure of it.
I have to thank Skider for the amazing fight this season, if it wasn't for him I could have won the title like he did last year which would have been nice but also very boring and I wouldn't have enjoyed myself as much as I did this year with this great fight.
Some key moments for me this season:
I was upset at the Jerez Irta test because I lost the first place due to lag.
I was very surprised by Guishermo at Losail, we all were amazed and scared by him.
3rd place at Jerez was very good considering my past results at this track (16th, 10th and 10th).
Istanbul was disappointing because I didn't practice so much and I did too many small mistakes.
Shanghai is one of my worst memories ever because I lost the race because of lag after I made a very good recovery from 2 seconds behind.
Le Mans was acceptable considering it was wet and I was very scared of wet races at that time, I just rode safe.
Mugello was my worst race of the season because I didn't practice at all so I was damn slow.
Then the amazing run of 5 victories in a row begun at Catalunya. I was pretty stressed during the race, much slower than in practice but I managed to win it.
I finally managed to win my first race of the season so I was happy.
Donington was by far my best race this season and maybe it brings me the best memories ever from gp500. I managed to KICK ASS in the first half of the race so the last laps were just a walk in the park.
Assen was pretty hard because I was 3rd fastest but I managed to win it, I was pretty lucky Vouks and Skider fell or made mistakes.
Sachsenring was a pretty good race but I did few mistakes so I didn't escape from Skider until he made a mistake and went wide.
Laguna Seca was very hard, I knew Skider was faster than me so I chose softer tyres in order to stay in front at the start and force him to push hard and make mistakes, exactly what happened, I've won this race thanks to the strategy.
Brno is where Skider is unbeatable so I was very happy I was able to stay in front of him most of the race, 2nd place on a track like this is a smart result, I was happy.
Misano, I was the fastest but I made a mistake and went wide after few laps. I started to catch up places but I made a mistake again and fell, my only crash of the season, pretty good considering we had 18 long and hard races. 3rd after 2 big mistakes was a good results but I was kid of sad because I knew I could have won it.
Estoril was extremely disappointing because I was very fast in practice but again very stressed in the race, my lap times were much slower than in practice and Skider managed to beat me at the end of the race, I was very very sad with this 2nd place.
Motegi, wet race again, after Donington I knew I was able to win in the wet because I didn't have the big disadvantage to Skider this time, the front soft tyre lasted until the end (not like in dry conditions when my front tyre is gone much earlier than Skider's). I was very confident in the race so I didn't let Skider have a chance in the last laps, my 6th victory of the season, I was very happy.
Phillip Island, one of my worst results ever because I practiced more than ever before so I could be able to finish in top2. I made a wrong tyre choice and I didn't have a chance, 4th place after so much practice and high hopes, very very disappointing. That's where I knew I lost the title, it demoralized me pretty much.
Sepang was nice, the fight for the title was out of my head, I only thought about the race but I didn't practice so much so I was only able to finish 2nd, pretty good.
Valencia my love, I've always liked this track and I always had good results here.
I knew that I've always finished the season with a good result and now that it was maybe on my best track it made me have 2 advantages over other riders.
I was pretty slow in the race compared to practice, 3-4 seconds slower but I was amazed how even slower others were. It seems I'm much faster than others here so even with a slow race I can win it. I have 2 wins in the last 2 years at Valencia, same as at Assen but I prefer Valencia any day. Assen was good the way it was before the big change, now it's just another track for me. Valencia seems to be a track for records, mostly in qualifying. Distance between the pole guy and 2nd guy on the grid:
Skider to Biggie - 0.622 in 2005
Seby to SFW - 0.418 in 2006
Seby to Vouks - 0.473 in 2007
Always a huge difference between riders in qualifying and I'm glad I was the one to kick ass in the last 2 years.
I've also had the best hot lap in race, even if I had med-med tyres.
Hat-trick again: pole-hot lap-victory, same as last year, seems I'm the king of Valencia, can't wait for next year.
Even if I lost the title, I'm very happy to end this great season with a victory on the track I like the most, it kind of compensates the title I lost.
I'm also very happy that with this victory Lords Of Shadows finally managed to win the Team Standings after 2 years in which we were 4th and 2nd. It took us 3 years to be able to win it and i'm pround of it.
This last win was also essencial for Yamaha to win the Constructors standings. I've been 2 years with Honda and 2 years with Yamaha, maybe it's time for a change again. If that will happen, I'm glad I could do my best to repay them with a title for all the help they've given me this season.
Maybe the most important thing for me are those 12 pole positions, i'm very proud of them, I was the fastest in one lap this season. Next year I'll to break this record but I think it will be harder.
Now it's time to focus on 2008 and do some testing to choose the physics for next year.
That's enough said about me for now, I'll resume to other riders:
Vouks, yes you are right and I'm sorry for that moment at Shanghai, I was too furious that I lost the race because of lag and the no-coll file. It was my fault so I'm sorry, at that point of the season I wasn't so confident and way too stressed about not being able to win. You did your best and you've won so congratulations for that victory and also for a podium finish in the standings. I don't know how things will turn out next year but I will never accept for you to beat me so I'll give my best to keep you behind me in the standings next year.
SFW, man I've enjoyed racing with you even since my first online race about 4 years ago. When I first saw you I kept thinking "how the hell can he go so fast?", at that time you used to beat me by 30 seconds in 20%-30% races. In 2004 I've managed to keep up with you in few races, I know you had slower physics but still I was pretty happy with my performance considering it was my first year online. I even took a victory from you that season, at Johor. We fought until the last corner, that was my first victory and I was very proud of it considering I worked very hard to get it. Last year you started much better than me so I couldn't catch you until the end of the season even if I was stronger in the last half of the year. I knew by then I was going to beat you this year but I wasn't 100% sure of it so I gave my very best all season long. This was my first objective this year, I remember saying I'd be happy with 5th if SFW was 6th.
Oh yeah, now after Valencia we're level on 34-34, you beat me 34 times in 4 years and vice versa but I want to take the advantage as soon as possible. Btw you beat me only 3 times in the last 28 races, it seems I've kicked your ass lately.
In this case my objective is not finished yet, you still have 3 more victories and 7 more points than me in History standings so I won't rest until I will pass you. When that will happen a part of me will be very happy because I will finally pass the rider I've admired since my first race online.
Guishermo, you have been amazing this season, you've surprised me even since the first race. To win in your first race here considering the opponents is fabulous. About what you said, I know you were very strong all season long and you could have done better in most of the races but I've also had my own problems this season. Biggest problem for me was the pressure, in almost all races this season I was 3-4-5 seconds slower than in practice, even in the races I've won so we'll never know what would have happened if we both would have ridden at 100%.
I believe that without missing those 4 races you would have also been very close to Skider and I in the standings and this year you have been the strongest opponent for me except Skider. I hope next year we'll do great things and we can help each other in order to beat Skider because I'm sure nobody wants the same guy to win all the time. If we put our powers together we might have a better chance.
Transalp, this has been the 3rd year since we're team mates and it has been an honor to race in the same team with you. I hope we can continue again next year and to keep the Team Standings to us. You have helped the team very much this season, specially here in Valencia and I want to thank you for that and also congratulations for your results this year. I know your results are not the same as in 2004 or 2005 but please don't give up, I've also been in a difficult situation in the past and I've managed to get over it and now I can fight for the victory and for the title. I'm sure you will do the same when the right moment will come.
Also thanks to Saber120 and to Down. Thank you very much and congratulations for your results this season. Maybe in the future we'll fight together again. Thank you again and good luck.
Dolz and Yvos hehe always nice to watch the battle between you two. It seems you were equal this year so I guess your fight will carry on next year so you can prove to each other who is the best. Congratulations to both of ya and good luck.
catutza, DarkBringer, Mircea, Wd and Rui, thank you all for racing in my team, even if it was the second team. Congratulations to catutza for the title in Class C, it seems the title remains in Romania after last year DarkBringer was the winner. I'm sorry Wd and Rui had to quit, I hope we'll see each other in the future so I wish you good luck. Thank you all.
catutza, DarkBringer and Mircea, I hope you will continue to work together in Lords Of Shadows II next year and to make this team even better than in the last 2 years. I will give you a good team mate for 2008 who will help you improve even more.
Now I want to express my feelings about the community.
Huge thank you to Dolz, Yvos, SFW, TT98, Atman, rezist, Skider, Transalp, Malasombra brothers, cbr600f98 , JC, EGDesign, DNStouron, StuButler, Maurotex, Zaidon, mye, Sullivan and all the rest of the guys who helped us keep this site/championship going. It's not the best because it should be or because we say it is, it's the best because we make it the best: the results, standings, statistics, videos, news, bikesets, tracksets, hosting, everything.
Thanks to all the guys who have raced in this championship, congratulations for your results and for being part of this great community and championship.
May gp500 and motogp500online live forever, mostly in our hearts.
Damn that's a long post, the longest ever lol. I'm sorry but I just had to say it.
Don't go away guys, we'll do a test in 2 weeks. The next update will be on the site soon.
Have fun m8s."

Vouks MotoGP Greece Racing (9th in Valencia - 16:52.048, 3rd in the Standings - 291 points):
"Hi!!!!!!!!!!!! First off all I will say a big thanks to Dolz, Seby, Yvos, Atman...with 1 word to all who make this champ the best of all. Also I like very much that all riders have fun because of the A and B classes and... classes makes all riders have 1 reason more to fight to the last corner of the last lap of every race.
Next is a big GG to Skider for 2nd title in a row, because it's not easy to make that! So far you have Seby in a very good racing year, also new Spanish boys Down and Guihsermo and of course old fox SFW and other fast runners ........
About Greek Team now we lost our manager (Mgr) before this champ even started, also Max was not in every race there and that we are 3th in the team standings looks very cool.
About my year the highest point was my win in China and the lowest was just after that where we came back in the room and not all did say a big GG to a guy who did his first Win.
And remember 2008 season will start faster then we all think!"

SFW Kawasaki Racing (3rd in Valencia - 16:38.373, 4th in the Standings - 281 points):
"Well first af all Congatulations to Skider with another title, like many have said: the 2nd one is much harder and the level was much higher this year.
Also wd to Seby with his amazing season and well deserved 2nd place.
And of course wd to Vouks, he made a huge step forward from last year and will definitely fight for the championship next season.
As for me I'm in general pleased with my preformance, I was hoping to do better but because of various things in my personal life I wasn't able to practice as much as I would have liked. This year I sufferd from a 'WTC' syndrom (winner or crasher) also known as the "Transalp disease" basically it's when you haven't done much practice but still want to ride on the limit so you want to ride faster and faster every corner but after few laps you go ever the limit and crash.
Nevertheless I have enjoyed myself very much every race and had some good fun on the track, also glad to help a bit with hosting and the most I liked this season was the routine of coming together online on Sunday night and feel the taste of atmosphere and excitement before the race. I think we should be grateful for all participants who dedicated their time and commitment to this community and of course all race directors and admins who are doing the good work of running this championship.
And when we are talking about much work and dedication there is one man that deserves extra attention ......of course Seby! This year Seby has always been here for us and doing much work with making the results and extra much work with our beautiful statistics, managing the website, many hours of hosting, and still able to do many many and more many hours of practice and finally riding a great season, beating Skider many times and fighting for the title all the way till the last race.
Also need to thank my team mates for their support and I wish them all the best next season."

Guishermo Hurricane Miu Racing (4th in Valencia- 16:42.154, 5th in the Standings - 272 points):
"Congratulations to Seby, fantastic race m8, to SFW (glad to see you so fast again) and finally to the man of the year, FANTASTIC JOB SKIDER, this year was very difficult with Seby so fast and consistant.
My race was bad but could have been worse, I think the thing that decided the race was the start, Seby was a lightning and by the first turns he was around half a second in front of me and Skider... I was pushing hard not to lose ground with Skider, he was half a second in front of me by 4-5 laps, but I did a mistake and touched the gravel and I was then 1.3... I tried to recover but I lost the braking-point in one corner, went out of the track and lost 6 seconds... After that I recovered only 3-4 tenths to Skider, so with no run-off it would have been very very difficult to catch him, but at least I would have got a podium... Personally I think that I have to be a lot more aggressive in the first corners, when I'm alone I can be as fast as the front guys, but when I lose some tenths and have somebody in front of me it's very difficult for me to be as fast, that's something I have to improve for next year...
And now I'm going to review my first season in this championship... 7 podiums with 3 wins, lost 4 rounds, crashed or went out of the track 5 times... For my first year it's not so bad but I feel like I could have given more, at the beginning of the season I thought I was at the same level as Skider and better than Seby, Vouks and SFW, but after Shanghai I lost ground and couldn't follow those two bitches. At the end of the season I think I was as fast as them, but not so consistent. Lets see race by race:
- Losail: Rode alone with the pace I did in practice, won my first race.
- Jerez: I jumped the start and crashed twice. Then I did a race with Seby, Vouks and SFW, the anticoll bug made me run-off and lost several seconds... With no anticoll-bug I would have beaten them and maybe Skider, I had a very good pace in that race, faster than Seby, Vouks and SFW with harder tyres.
- Istanbul: Perfect race, I escaped from lap 2-3 and did the pace in practice, my second win.
- Shanghai: Probably my best race with Phillip Island, I improved my pb in race by 5 tenths and with a bad setup, the first gear was too long and I was losing 2-3 tenths in the slow corner after the back straight. I'm sure I would have won that race with a good setup, was thats my fault.
- Le Mans: My first wet race and paid for it. I was 2 seconds slower than the top guys until the race day, when I changed the setup (maximum rake, I had minimum) and was much faster. In the race I crashed in the first turn, but with no crash I wouldn't have won, for sure.
- Mugello: It was a good race but I was slower than Skider and Down, it was the first time of the season I felt slower than anybody. Skider run-off in the first turn and recovered 4-5 seconds to me, but wasn't able to overtook me at the end, maybe two more corners and he would have beaten me.
- Catalunya: I felt like I was fast, but from the start Seby took some advantage and when I was trying to recover (I was sure I could do it, although I was 2.5 secs behind him) I crashed, the crash was unexpected because I touched very little the ripple and didn't expect to crash, but that's racing. In Montmelo I realized Seby was as fast as me or even faster.
- Donington: I was too slow in practice in the wet, but by race-day I improved my pace half a second risking a lot more when leaning, in the race Seby escaped again and I wasn't able to recover. Even though it was a very very good race for me after the disaster of Le Mans.
- Assen, Laguna and Sachsenring: I couldn't race, it's a pity because Laguna is one of my favorite tracks, and in these tracks Skider did mistakes, so maybe I could have won races, but I don't know because Seby was very fast.
- Brno: I couldn't practice and besides Brno is one of the worst tracks for me. With a 4th I was completely satisfied.
- Misano: My race was very good, I won but the others made a lot of mistakes, I think I wasn't faster than them in that race and that disappointed me because I thought I was the same as the one at the beginning of the season.
- Estoril: I didn't race, a pity because I saw the hot laps and I had big big chances of winning, my pace was really good, but if you don't race, you cant win races.
- Motegi: I was very fast but Skider and Seby were faster, my race was over when I was fighting with Seby and lost the braking point in the back straight, I lost 1-2 seconds and was behind Skider, but with worn tyres they kicked my ass hardly.
- Phillip Island: My best race of the year, I did 2nd but it was my best race and I'm proud of it, I did an incredible pace compared to practice and Skider couldn't follow me at the beginning, I got a 2.3 advantage... But I risked with softer tyres and what I won at the beginning was what I lost at the end, when Skider overtook me in the last lap, I can't blame the tyres, only congratulate Skider for that race.
- Malaysia: My most frustrating race, could have won it and had a very good pace, but I made 3 run-off in the same corner and crashed once, very frustrating.
- Valencia: I lost my whole practice time with hard tyres, by race day I changed to mediums and improved my race time 20 seconds... But that wasn't enough to challenge for the win, maybe with more practice I could have been faster.
That's my view, next year I will race only in this championship (this year I was changing physics very often because I did also spanish championship with very different physics), I hope to do less mistakes and be better with the settings and tyres choice, I have been awful this year with those things and have lost podiums and wins because of that, I was a bit "retarded" this year I can only congratulate Skider for the win and Seby for being so fast (at the beginning I didn't think you were faster than me, but in the most part of the races you have been), and I hope to be next year stronger and I also hope Vouks and SFW to be there too because they are very very fast sometimes, and maybe Down can also race more often, because he is one of those crazy guys we need here (faster than anybody with keyboard).
See you!"

Yvos Arkos Froggy's Connection (14th in Valencia- 17:03.076, 8th in the Standings - 159 points):
"Hi all! So this is it, 2007 season is over and Skider keeps his crown one more year, GG Skider!
Seby made his best season so far and was the great rival of Skider, with massive collection of trophies. Behind those 2, we had 4 or 5 riders who succeeded in showing their skill, but mostly they had to watch Seby's and Skider's duel as spectators.
It was Vouks who took the last big part of the cake with final podium in the standings.
Then we had all others fighting for different objectives, final top ten, A and B standings, etc...
Great fights and real intensity!
As for this final round, here's how it went for me:
I had the objective of beating Dolz (as usual) and make a big gap if possible though...
I knew it would be hard because of the last training sessions, Dolz was consistant ...maybe too confident. I started well, but while chasing Transalp and Dolz, 1 sec in front on lap 2, I made a stupid mistake and lost some ground, down behind TT98... then I struggled with him, passing him and making mistakes then... hopefully, Dolz decided to crash and helped me a lot ... TT98 crashed as well (maybe chocked by the crash of his future Team manager) 100 meters from there and then I had control of the situation.
Dolz who was 5 secs behind me on lap 4 pushed as hard as he could, to catch me...I managed to stay in front with consistant laps, but not super, until lap 9 when Dolz, less than 2 secs from my rear, made his fatal move.
Pity the finale was not a great performance and duel, but we had a good season fighting each other, was cool m8.
I lay 8th in the standings (same total as Dolz, as 9-9 in confrontations), this is my best result, so I'm happy! Thanks all for racing, cya soon for Pré-season events and so on..."

LuKe Tornado-CreW (DNS in Valencia, 12th in the Standings - 103 points):
"Hi all, first of all I can only say the same as Vouks. Thanks to all people who managed this championship, the best one in the World, you all make a very great job, and I'm very happy to take part in it.
Then, congratulations to SKIDER for the second title in a row, well done job and to SEBY too, your best ever season. The Decision fell in the last race.
So, my season until the Phillip Island race okay, after this race, I had no internet connection for the last two races, so I lost the B-Class Title, TT98 wins this title, congrats to you, you deserve this title because you were very consistent all season long, nice job m8 and nice opponent.
This was my first season, was not very easy for me, the speed is very high here in this championship, my mistake was that I crash very often because I want to keep up with the best.
Next year I will do a bit better hehe. Cya all!"

TT98-XL VLT Racing (20th in Valencia - 17:10.981, 18th in the Standings - 62 points):
"Yes thank you! It has been a long time since I've won a cup or championship! Finally I win this one, it has been a long and hard year for me; a lot of things I have learned and been well consistent for the whole season, when it comes to turning up. It's tough for LuKe to lose the B Class Title this way, but one's death is an other's work! (No LuKe ain't dead lol)...
This picture was taken just after the race where I and Matt celebrate the Teams champion! 13 = 1B!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks to Dolz who made the seasons possible, to Yvos for videos and hosting, Seby for quick results all the time! Atman for his pictures, and all other who have been contributing!
Kisses to Matt who has been there for me during the season!"

Bradders Yamaha England (15th in Valencia - 17:05.506, 20th in the Standings - 59 points):
"Well done TT98! B-Class champion. If me and Luke hadn't missed races it would have been so close! But as they say, consistency is key...
Well done Ronza for your first win aswell, too quick for me this weekend, hope you keep it up for next year.
I had a good season. Went from backmarker last year to a 5th place at Assen and came close to B-class title this year!
Looking forward to next year, hopefully challenging for a few A class podiums."

Atman Asica Racing Team (19th in Valencia - 17:10.017, 23rd in the Standings - 49 points):
"Report from race. The best race ever for me, I am very glad, because Valencia is ideal track for close racing and I like it. I needed 15th place in this race, needed 6 points for better place in standings but I lost only 5 seconds in total time (Bradders was in 15th place). Nevermind, with 19th place in qualifying, best lap and also standings, 2 points and 23rd place in the standing I am very content.
The whole weekend was nice, new riders as Mircea and Whiskys were very good opponents for me, in to the bargain Fonta also did a close race."

Ronza746 Ronza Racing (12th in Valencia - 17:00.000, 30th in the Standings - 33 points):
"Hi all! Congrats to everybody and especially to the overall champion Skider and my class champ TT98! I'm pretty happy for my first B-class win and I was really hoping to end the season on a high... Looking at my results it was a shame that I couldn't take part in 7 races, most of them during the summer... Anyway I already can't wait for the 2008 season to start! Bradders, we'll have fun for sure! Still many thanks to the guys that keep this championship great! See y'all soon... and keep training! ciao."

rezist Rezist Racing Yamaha (25th in Valencia - 17:48.422, 36th in the Standings - 22 points):
"Firstly well done Seby for winning the race, congratulations to Skider for the 1st ever back-to-back world championship title!
And also TT98 had a very consistently quick season, to beat me among all the others in the B class, nice job m8! I remember a time when we were at a similar pace, but now he's really improved a lot this year.
As for my race, I'm really surprised I wasn't last lol, I crashed 3 times, mainly due to fatigue... I couldn't stay awake coz I was racing at 2am lol.
Anyway, I hope to be able to practice more regularly next season, and with a new bike, and some new physics maybe it will go in my favour, who knows? hehe."

Adam Yamaha England (DNS in Valencia, 43rd in the Standings - 9 points):
"Congrats Skider! Congrats TT98!
It's been great to watch the battle between Skider and Seby all year, and Yvos' videos have helped make each round better than the real MotoGP season!
TT98 did an amazing job this year, I too remember racing against him a while back and being quite close, but now the closest I get is his tyre smoke! Hopefully next year, if TT98, LuKe and Bradders (well done to all of you!) move up to class A there might be a lot of guys in for a shot at the B class title (including me!).
I wish I could have participated in more races I think there was a lot of people in B class that were all around the same level. I've been going nuts sorting out my personal life this year but that's sorted now. I'm ready for 2008 now! Before that we now have a whole load of tests to keep busy with.
Great season, hopefully even better next year, good job everyone!"

Livingston Tornado-CreW (DNS in Valencia, NC in the Standings - 0 points):
"Congratulations to all Riders!
Skider and Seby, it was fun to see your fights on track again and again. I hope to see them next year too but perhaps with more riders near you.
My Season was not so bad, I missed few races in the middle of the season and to the end too. But I think it was okay.
Thank you for the greatest championship of all times. It is better then the real one.
And now I can say let's test again. I'm hot for 2008. And I want to fight for group C win!"

Yvos and Dolz complete the top 5.
